The session is about complex data cleansing and restructuring scenario within an architecture that involves Salesforce and external systems (with very strong dependencies) in an ecommerce space. The session challenges the definition of duplicates within the customer data landscape and how to deal with those – either with native tools like Duplicate Rules, handling duplicates in Apex, detecting duplicates with AppExchange solutions or at the end “accepting” the existence of Duplicates and reviewing those as disparate profiles of a single customer in the context of Data Cloud. The end goal of the session is to critically challenge the definition of a Duplicate and to showcase the different ways how we can deal with those with a various set of tools.
